A unique botanical garden born out of the love between music and nature. The La Mortella Gardens were created by Susana Walton, wife of English composer William Walton, and extend over panoramic terraces with spectacular views of the sea. They house tropical plants, fountains, nymphaea, greenhouses and a Greek theater for outdoor concerts. Each path leads to a secret corner, amid rare orchids, intense fragrances and art installations. A magical place to relax, get lost among the colors and discover the beauty of Ischia in harmony with art and botany.

Located just a short walk from the Panorama Hotel, Citara Beach is one of Ischia's most famous and popular beaches. At 789 meters high, Mount Epomeo is the highest point on Ischia and affords 360-degree panoramic views of the island and the Gulf of Naples. The climb, which can be walked from Fontana, passes through chestnut forests, vineyards and paths carved out of green stone. At the top is a small rock church and a small refuge where you can get refreshments. It is a perfect hike for nature and trekking lovers, but also for those who want to have an authentic and spiritual experience, immersed in the silence and millennial strength of the dormant volcano.
